Linn Lake

The Linn Lake property is owned by The Clark Family Compound, LLC. It is an agricultural and recreational property that offers fishing and hiking in a peaceful, natural environment.

Directions

From New Orleans LA, take I-59 north to Meridian, MS.  Exit onto MS 45 north.  Follow US 45 N until Brooksville, where you will bear left onto ALT 45 north.  Follow ALT 45 through West Point until reaching MS Hwy 8.  Exit onto Hwy 8, turn left (west) on Hwy 8.  Linn Lake is approximately 9 miles west of Hwy ALT 45 on the right.

From Birmingham AL, take I-20/59 south to Tuscaloosa AL.  Take exit XX to I-359 north.  I-359 ends at US 43, continue on US 43 until US 82.  Turn left on US 82 and follow US 82 past Columbus MS to US ALT 45.  Exit right onto US ALT 45 north.  Follow US ALT 45 north through West Point to MS Hwy 8.  Take the Hwy 8 exit, turn left, and follow Hwy 8 for approximately 9 miles.  Linn Lake is on the right.

From Memphis TN, take I-55 south to the MS HWY 8 exit (Grenada).  Follow Hwy 8 east through Grenada.  Continue east through Houston MS.  Linn Lake is approximately 9 miles east of Houston on Hwy 8, on the left.

Houston, Mississippi is the county seat of Chickasaw County.  It was named after Sam Houston who passed this way enroute to Texas to save that republic from the Mexicans, or something like that.
